Eat Local Restaurant Month

There is a party at Que Pasa Restaurant!
Guess what: October is coming, the Eat Local Aruba Restaurant Month!

Explore, discover and enjoy, says the poster of the upcoming Eat Local Aruba Restaurant Month. That is the idea behind this month-long event in October: everyone is invited to come and try the locally inspired dishes of the various restaurants on the island. And you can do so at a really nice price: a 3-course dinner for $40.

At Que Pasa Restaurant in the Wilhelminastraat the Eat Local party starts off with home-made crab cakes with a tomato chili salsa, served on a green salad with watermelon. The entree is barbecued rubbed grilled pork tenderloin, served with a creamy pineapple sauce, crispy sweet potato fries and sweet deep-fried plantains. But wait: save some space for the finale of this Eat Local feast – a hot banana with a chocolate and caramel sauce is served with coconut ice cream. I know you won’t be able to resist!

The 3-course dinner at the popular restaurant in downtown Oranjestad is winking at the wide range of culinary influences on Aruba. Discover the Caribbean and South-American influences in your menu and enjoy! Bon provecho!
